On February 28, 2019 in Nur-Sultan the I international scientific-practical conference “Public-private partnership as a mechanism for attracting investments: models and experience” will be held.

On January 16, 2020 at 11:00 hours there in the reading hall “Kazakstan kitaptary” took place the solemn opening of the Literary centre of Abai, dedicated to the 175-th birthday of the great Kazakh poet-enlightener and philosopher Abai Kunanbayev.

On January 17, 2020 the Institute of Economics of the Committee of Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a round table on the topic: “Strong regions are the basis of Kazakhstan’s prosperity”.
Within the framework of the Round Table, a presentation of the book “Economy of the Border Regions: Problems and Prospects of Development (on the example of the Almaty Region of Kazakhstan)” was made / Monograph / ed. A.A. Satybaldin, N.K. Nurlanova. Almaty, Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. – 2020. – 348 p.

According to the results of the state scientific and technical expertise of 2019, the scientific and technical program of the Institute of economics of SC MES RK «Kazakhstan’s path to knowledge-based economy on the context of the third technological modernization: strategy, models and development mechanisms» was approved to continue research and received 25 points (Excerpt No. 3 of Protocol of the meeting of NSC on priority area «Scientific basis «Mangilik El» (education of the 21st century, basic and application studies in the field of the human sciences)» No. 8 dated December 6, 2019). This is the 5-7th place among 138 programs in Kazakhstan.

The Institute of economics of CS MES RK refused to celebrate a New Year’s corporate party and donated the collected funds to the Fitness and Health Center for children with disabilities. The total amount is KZT 510000.

Fitness and Health Center for children with disabilities in the village of  Kyzyl-Kairat, Talgar District, provides fully free services and exists on the donations for 2 years. The main objectives of the Center are: the implementation of sports, medical and recreational activities, social and labor adaptation, psychological and educational assistance to children suffering from various diseases leading to disability.

At the Center, children have the opportunity to receive exercise therapy, the services of a speech therapist, dialectologist and psychologist, training in the general education program, and develop talents in the vocal, choreographic, and artistic parts. They receive physiotherapy, attend educational excursions. The main part of rehabilitation is sports (swimming, athletics, arm wrestling, ballroom dancing in wheelchairs, chess, togiz kumalak).

Thanks to treatment, the development of creative and sports abilities, the Center’s wards were able to achieve amazing results. For 2 years from the date of the Center’s official opening, 6 children recovered from wheelchairs!!!
