Priorities and mechanisms against rural women of Kazakhstan unequal access to the resources

Project tasks:

1 Stage 1, 2022 – To explore theories, models and modern approaches of gender equality practice and substantiate conceptual provisions for improving the quality of life of rural women.

2 Stage 2, 2023 – To develop an author’s methodology for assessing gender gaps in access to natural, social, economic and digital resources in rural areas of Kazakhstan (based on primary and secondary data).

3 Stage 3, 2024 – To substantiate mechanisms and directions for overcoming unequal access of rural women of Kazakhstan to resources in order to reduce poverty. To develop a strategic development plan by 2050 to gradually expand access to resources for rural women in Kazakhstan in order to reduce poverty.

Expected results:

1 Stage 1, 2022 – conceptual foundations for improving the quality of life of rural women will be proposed;

2 Stage 2, 2023 – the socio-economic situation of the population of rural areas of Kazakhstan will be analyzed on the basis of the developed author’s methodology, and a comprehensive index of gender differences will be proposed;

3 Stage 3, 2024 – mechanisms to overcome unequal access of rural women of Kazakhstan to natural, social, economic and digital resources will be substantiated.
