The Institute of Economics, Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan (IE KN MSHE RK), continues its series of practice-oriented seminars under the program, “Methodology and Methods of Scientific Research: Modern Approaches and Digital Technologies”.

Dr. Olzhas Adilkhanov, PhD, conducted the latest seminar at the M. Kh. Dulaty Taraz Regional University.

He addressed key topics utilized in contemporary scientific work. Methodological foundations of economic research and scientific article preparation. Working with scholarly literature: literature review, source retrieval, and APA-style referencing via Mendeley. Data management in economic studies: search, collection, and preliminary processing. Fundamentals of econometric analysis: application of correlation and regression methods using Excel and Gretl. Practical recommendations for writing and successfully defending a PhD dissertation.
