On February 12-13, 2026, the Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I. Satbayev hosted an extended meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the theme “Higher Education and Science: The Year of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence.”
During the working session, primary attention was given to reorienting the education system toward the development of universal competencies integrated with data analytics and artificial intelligence tools. The transition to new models of science governance within the framework of the 2023-2029 Development Concept was also discussed.
As part of the Board meeting, an exhibition was organized featuring more than 40 innovative projects in the fields of artificial intelligence, nanotechnology, metallurgy, and agriculture.
