The Institute of Economics of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan is a fundamental research centre in Kazakhstan. Founded in 1952 within the Academy of Sciences. It has the Center for Social and Economic Research – a branch in Nur-Sultan.
The main scientific activity is carried out within the framework of scientific and technical programs, grants for fundamental and applied research, as well as grants from international organizations.
