Annotation

Project goal is a comprehensive study of theoretical approaches, foreign practices to identify gender imbalances in various fields of science, and practical proposals for the selection of strategic directions, mechanisms for empowering women in scientific activities in the interests of the development of the innovative economy. 

Project objectives:

Stage 1, 2023 – To explore theoretical and methodological approaches, aspects and advanced foreign practices to identify gender imbalances in various fields of science;

Stage 2, 2024 – To develop a research methodology, identify and group a set of factors to assess the degree of their impact on economic growth, the development of science and innovation in Kazakhstan;

Stage 3, 2025 – To develop scientific and practical proposals, strategic directions and mechanisms for empowering women in scientific activities in the interests of developing the innovative economy of Kazakhstan.

Expected results:

– development of theoretical and methodological approaches to gender imbalance in various fields of science;

– development of research methodology and assessment of the impact of women scientists on economic growth, development of science and innovation in Kazakhstan;

– development of mechanisms for the empowerment of women in scientific activities in the interests of the development of the innovative economy of Kazakhstan.
