ASTANA, July 15, 2026  The presentation of the fifth volume of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s book “The Governance of China” took place today in Astana.

The event was held under the theme: “Standing Shoulder to Shoulder, Advancing Together: Jointly Building a China-Kazakhstan Community with a Shared Future”

The presentation was organized by the State Council Information Office of the People’s Republic of China, the Department of Foreign Languages Press and Publication Administration of the PRC, and the Chinese Embassy in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Welcoming remarks were delivered by Mo Gaoyi, Deputy Head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee and Director of the State Council Information Office of the PRC; Yelnur Sabyrzhanovich Beisenbayev, Head of the Domestic Policy Department of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Askar Umarov, Director of the Central Communications Service under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Rustam Ali, Deputy Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Chen Kefan, Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the Chinese Embassy in Kazakhstan; and Yu Infu, Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Languages Press and Publication Administration of the PRC.

The event concluded with remarks from members of the expert community of Kazakhstan and China.
