The 10th Eurasian Business Forum Green Energy & Waste Recycling (GEWR’26), taking place in Astana on 2-3 July, has become one of the landmark international events in the field of sustainable development. The Forum serves as one of the largest international platforms for discussing modern approaches to the development of the circular economy, green energy, waste management, and the implementation of environmentally sustainable solutions.

The event brought together representatives of government authorities, international organizations, the scientific community, businesses, and industry experts from Kazakhstan and abroad. The Forum was organized by the Kazakhstan Waste Management Association (KazWaste) with the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Zhasyl Damu JSC.

The Forum featured discussions on key issues related to the development of waste management systems, the implementation of circular economy principles, the digital transformation of the sector, financing of environmental projects, the application of ESG approaches, achieving carbon neutrality, and the commercialization of scientific research and innovations in the field of sustainable development.

The programme also included thematic sessions dedicated to industrial and electronic waste management, the advancement of green technologies, and strengthening cooperation among government, academia, and the business community.
