According to the results of the state scientific and technical expertise of 2019, the scientific and technical program of the Institute of economics of SC MES RK «Kazakhstan’s path to knowledge-based economy on the context of the third technological modernization: strategy, models and development mechanisms» was approved to continue research and received 25 points (Excerpt No. 3 of Protocol of the meeting of NSC on priority area «Scientific basis «Mangilik El» (education of the 21st century, basic and application studies in the field of the human sciences)» No. 8 dated December 6, 2019). This is the 5-7th place among 138 programs in Kazakhstan.
By decision of the meeting of NSC on priority area ««Scientific basis «Mangilik El» (education of the 21st century, basic and application studies in the field of the human sciences)» (Excerpt of Protocol No. 2 dated December 6, 2019) the following grant projects of the Institute of economics of SC MES RK were approved for further research:
- «Development of mechanisms for the economic advancement of depressed border areas of Kazakhstan»;
- «Strategic government of the metallurgical complex of Kazakhstan in global competitiveness conditions»;
- «Improving the competiveness ofdomestic labouras a condition for ensuring the balance of labor resources and jobs».
